Rites For Ruth Lutterman Held

Ruth O. Lutterman, 90, of Antioch, IL, passed away Thursday, January 31, at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL.

Services were held Monday, February 4, at 7 p.m., at the Strang Funeral Home in Antioch, IL, with Rev. Darrell English of the United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery, in Wellsburg, IA, on February 6.

She was born on April 1, 1900, to John and Katherine Knapper Wachs in Atkinson, IL.

Ruth was united in marriage to Dr. Eldridge J. Lutterman on December 10, 1924. Together they moved to Antioch, IL, where her husband had a dental practice from 1921, until his death in 1960.

Mrs. Lutterman was a registered nurse, a member of the Illinois Nurses Association, and the A.A.R.P.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Jacob, and Harry, and three sisters, Katherine, Bernice, and Mary.

Ruth is survived by one son, Robert J. Lutterman, of Antioch, IL.

Friends desiring may make contributions to the Antioch Rescue Squad in her memory.

The Strang Funeral Home in Antioch, IL, was in charge of arrangements.
