Services were held today (Wed) at 2:30 in the Doyen Funeral home. Burial was at Shiloh cemetery with Rev. G. C. Poppen officiating.
Sherman passed away suddenly Friday afternoon in his place of business in South Charleston, W. VA. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in South Charleston.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Leo Aschenbrenner and Mrs. Robert Stoelting, both of South Charleston and 1 brother Sheridan of Rotterdam, Holland.

Sherman Reid Dies In West Virginia
Sherman Reid, 49, former Wellsburg resident, died suddenly Friday afternoon in his furniture store at South Charleston, West Virginia, of a heart attack.
Services were held Sunday afternoon in South Charleston, then the body was sent to Wellsburg, arriving here Monday night.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Doyen Funeral home, with Rev. Geo. Poppen in charge, followed by burial in the Shiloh cemetery.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Leo Aschenbrenner and Mrs. Robert Stoelhing, both of South Charleston; and one brother, Sheridan of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
