Services are pending at Nelson-Richardson Funeral Home for Miss Carrie A. Ganschow, 85, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

Miss Ganschow, formerly of 1409 Iowa St., had been a resident of the Western Home since 1961. She was born in Grundy County on Feb. 22, 1886, the daughter of Ernest and Sophia Eck Ganschow, and was graduated in 1906 from the Iowa State Normal School, now the University of Northern Iowa. She had been a teacher and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Miss Ganschow is survived by a sister, Mrs. Emma Nelson of Hyattsville, Md.
