Tuberculosis is Cause of Death

Orville Sargent Succumbs After Year's Illness With Quick Consumption.

Orville Sargent, who for a year has been suffering with tuberculosis, passed away this morning at 12:30 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. B. O. Bunch, corner of Eighth and Iowa streets. For twelve weeks he had been confined to his bed, but up to the last he was perfectly rational and recognized those about him. He was twenty-one years of age, and was born on a farm in Grundy county and lived there most of his life. His stepfather and his mother moved to this city from Marshalltown last March in order that he might be near his brothers and sister. Everything that could be was done for him. Besides the mother, there resides in this city a brother, Floyd Sargent and a sister, Mrs. Robert Billings. A half sister, Mrs. Billings, lives at Mason City.

Tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock the funeral will be held from the home with Rev. Effie McCallom Jones, of Waterloo in charge. Interment will be at Fairfield cemetery, New Hartford.
