Died, at the home of J. Spoenhoff, his beloved wife, Anna J. She was born at Grothusen, Germany, May 28, 1806, and died August 21, 1896, being 90 years, 2 months and 23 days old. The remains were interred in the German Lutheran cemetery, Rev. Salsbart preaching the funeral sermon from the text found in 2 Cor. 4:14.
