Tillie Ohling Services Held

Tillie Ohling, 87, of Wellsburg, died Friday, March 12, at her home of cancer.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wellsburg Reformed Church with Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating.

Pallbearers were Allyn Harms, James Santee, David Eilderts, Dennis Harms, Dale Eilderts, and Derek Eilderts.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

Tillie was born January 17, 1906, in Grundy County the daughter of Menne and Janna Nederhoff Bunger. Her baptism name was Taalke. She attended the Shiloh Township country school. On February 11, 1930, she married Andrew Ohling in Wellsburg. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1967.

She was a member of the Wellsburg Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Anna Harms of Aplington, JoAnn Santee of Iowa Falls, and Frances Meester of Parkersburg, and also one sister, Grace Stahl of Wellsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, her parents, and an infant grandson.

Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
