Services for Jacobena W. Wolters, 81, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Grundy Center; burial in Stout Cemetery, Stout; she died Saturday morning (April 23) at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, of heart failure; survivors include her husband, Henry J. of Grundy Center; five daughters, Gertrude Wessels of Allison, Johanna Rottink of Nashua, Elaine Viet of Iowa Falls, Martha Dellinger of Valentine, Neb. and Delores Reeder of Atlantic; two step-daughters, Anna Pagel of Cedar Falls and Jennie Claassen of Waterloo; a brother, Jacob C. Meester of Parkersburg; six sisters, Annie Buskohl of Grundy Center, Trena Schnell of Stout, Henrietta Luhring, Martha Eilderts and Lydia Kolder all of Parkersburg and Ruth Claassen of rural Grundy Center; 32 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeanette and Ruth; an infant son, John; a brother, Herman H. Meester and a sister Mrs. Esther Hemmen; a memorial fund has been established; friends may call at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy center, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church before services.
