MRS. GEORGE CARR
Funeral services for Mrs. George Carr, 44, of 1119 Cleveland St., who died at 7 p. m., Saturday, at home of carcinoma, will be 3 p. m., Tuesday, at the Parrott & Wood funeral home with the Reverend Donald Polston, pastor of the Wesleyan Falls Avenue Methodist Church officiating.
Mrs. Carr was born Feb. 16, 1920, at Grundy Center, the daughter of Raymond and Henrietta Boven Hawn. She was married to George Carr at Kansas City, MO, on July 5, 1943.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, George and Jeffrey; one daughter, Beverly Ann, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Vogt, of Grundy Center; Mrs. Cleo Freese, of Wellsburn, and Mrs. Burnius Akers, of Gurndy Center; four brothers, Blaine, of Minneapolis; Blair, of Ottumwa; Burgess, of Grundy Center, and Harold of Celvo, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
