Lana Louise (Wallace) Weatherly was born on Wednesday; June 22, 1949 in Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa. The daughter of Elmer and Jackie (Stanton) Wallace. She was raised and educated in Marshalltown, Iowa graduating from the Marshalltown High School with the class of 1967.

On Saturday; May 17, 1969, she was united in marriage to Robert Leander Weatherly in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was employed by Ace Precision Castings for thirty-three years, where she served as a union steward and member of U.A.W. Local #893. Lana Louise (Wallace) Weatherly, age 57 passed away on Tuesday; November 27, 2006, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center; Grundy County, Iowa.

Those left to mourn her passing are: Her husband: Robert Weatherly of Grundy Center, Iowa. A son: Roy & his wife: Crystal Weatherly of Grundy Center, Iowa. Step-sons: Mike Weatherly of Minnesota and Kevin Weatherly of Gladbrook; Tama County, Iowa. One step-daughter: Julie Johnson of Minnesota. Her mother: Jackie Wallace of Marshalltown, Iowa. Her brothers: Dave Wallace of Baxter; Jasper County, Iowa and Jeff Wallace of Marshalltown, Iowa. Her sister: Linnette Tuttle of Marshalltown, Iowa and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Elmer, brother: Don Wallace and daughter Jody. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday; November 30, 2006 at our Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad; Grundy County, Iowa where the family will be present to greet friends. Funeral services will begin at: 11:00 a.m. on Friday; December 1, 2006 at the Alice Church of God north of Conrad. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the church cemetery.
