Forence V. Lindaman, 83, of Wellsburg died October 3, at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley. Funeral services were October 5, at East Friesland Presbyterian Church in rural Ackley. Burial was at Shiloh Cemetery in Wellsburg. A memorial fund has been established.

Florence was born December 18, 1920, in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of John Joseph and Grace (Shugar) Doyen. Florence was a 1938 graduate of Wellsburg High School and then continued her education and graduated from Hamilton Business College in Mason City. On November 27, 1942, Florence was united in marriage to Delbert J. Lindaman at the Second Christian Reformed Church Parsonage in Wellsburg. After their marriage, they made their home in Wellsburg.

Florence was a member of East Friesland Presbyterian Church in rural Ackley. She was a very devoted mother and wife and an excellent cook.

She is survived by her husband Delbert J. Lindaman of Wellsburg; two sons David Lindaman and his wife Lorraine of Council Bluffs and Merrill Lindaman of Wellsburg; two grandchildren; and one brother Elwood "Red" Doyen and his wife Vaneda of Wellsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Doyen.
