EAST FRIESLAND, MISSION FEAST

On Wednesday, May 16th, there will be a Mission feast held in the German Presbyterian Eastfriesland church, near Cleves, Iowa, to which the friends of the mission cause are invited. Three speakers from a distance, besides neighboring pastors, have been invited to aid; Revs. L. Abels, of Ashton, Iowa; H. Waterman, George, Iowa, and B. Schmitt, Jr., Forrest Grove, Ill. From Thursday, May 17, to Monday, May 28th, a Convention of the German Presbyterian Ministers and Elders of the West will also take place in the Eastfriesland church. Friends who are interested are welcome to attend the meetings. This body convenes annually for consultation in the interest of our German work in the west. It publishes a paper, "The Presbyterianer," and convenes to discuss questions of importance to further the cause of Christ, especially among the German people. H.
