To Build New Grundy Church

Dorhman and Crandall of Eldora have been awarded the contract to construct a new Salem Lutheran church two miles north of Fern in Grundy County.

The Salem Church was destroyed by fire a few months ago.

Cost of the new structure is reported to be between $32,000 and $35,000.

The new building will be 36x70, Colonial style. Walls will be brick. It is expected construction will be completed within four months.
