On Feb. 4, at the DeBeck home in Aplington, occurred the marriage of Carl Slight, a son of Anton Slight, who lives near Buck Grove, to Miss Jeanette DeBeck, Rev. D. Koester officiated. Walter Popkes was best man and Miss Lula Slight, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The young people will make their home on a farm near Racine, Wis.
