The Republican says a count has been made of the number of dwellings, families, etc., in the corporation limits, with the following results: No. of buildings used as residences, 118; No. of families residing therein, 135; No. of buildings used for business purposes, 61; No. of firms occupying the same, 78. The Republican, from these returns, figures up the population at 810. Last March the census only showed a population of 433.
