B.F. Roberts

When digging in Scranton a small glass bottle was found with the words "B.F. Roberts Pharmacist" inscribed on it. I am trying to find some more information regarding B.F. Would like to know what the initials stand for. I have found him in an 1880 census that shows he was 30 years old and lived with a family named Coleman. It lists his occupation as druggist and he was single.
