DEATH OF ISAIAH WRIGHT

Aged Citizen of Jackson Township Dies Suddenly

The sudden and unexpected death of Mr. Isaiah Wright, of Jackson township, was reported in this city yesterday morning. He was a man about 73 years of age, strong and hearty to all appearance, although troubled some with his heart. Wednesday he plowed corn most of the day and went to bed apparently in good health. His wife, who was sleeping with him, awakened about 4:15 yesterday morning and arose and dressed before discovering that her husband had passed away.

Death must have come to him while he slept, for no motion of tremor of the body occurred to arouse Mrs. Wright. Dr. Dean was summoned to the home as soon as possible, but there was nothing to do in a medical way, as Mr. Wright had probably passed away about one or two o'clock. At the time of going to press THE SOUVENIR had not learned what the funeral arrangements were.
