CUMMINGS in Fremont County

CUMMINGS, TRUE, ROBINSON, MCMAHON OR MCMAHILL

My great-great grandfather WILLIAM CUMMINGS (born Vermont) was a farmer in Randolph, Fremont County. He moved there from Wisconsin about 1870 at the age of 53 or 54. His wife, JULIA ANN ROBINSON was born in New York. They had 5 children: CORDELIA FOREST CUMMINGS (my Great-grandmother), WILLIAM H. CUMMINGS, and IRA CUMMINGS. Two other children MELVIN and PARMELIA died in childhood. IRA CUMMINGS died at age 23.
WILLIAM CUMMINGS, Sr. died in 1888.
Cordelia married JOHN W. TRUE. Their children were WILLIAM ORVILLE TRUE and MERO GLEN TRUE (my grandfather).
WILLIAM H. CUMMINGS married MARTHAN FRANCIS McMAHON or McMAHILL. Their children were IRA J. CUMMINGS and EVA CUMMINGS
