You are looking for information on Elijah B. Gaylord of Tabor, Iowa. I am his great-great granddaughter and was born in the house he built south of Tabor in 1846. My grandfather was Moses LaVern Gaylord, who was Moses W. Gaylord's son, who was Elijah B.'s son.

Elijah B. is buried in the Dawsonburg/Gaylord cemetary 3 miles south of Tabor, Iowa just north of our old farmstead.

I have a copy of the history of the family from the time they left France and the name was then "Gaillard". You probably know all of this already, but I am including it in this information so you know I am who I say I am. I do have some old pictures, that were given to me when my parents died. My father was Lyle Gaylord, mother Anna Hofmockel Gaylord. I have a brother, Larry Gaylord who still lives in Tabor. I live in Houston, TX.
