DEATH OF FORMER RESIDENT

Lena Myrtle Jacks passed away at Logan, Iowa, September 17 where she had gone to visit friends. She was born at Hamburg, Iowa, Decmber 13, 1886 and at the time of her death was 63 years, nine months and four days old. She was a devout Christian having been a worker in the Faith Home at Tabor for 15 years. She was a daughter of Asbury and Virginia Jacks, who have preceded her in death as well as four brothers and four sisters. The immediate family remaining are Silas A. Jacks of Dallas, South Dakota; Mrs. E.F. Trively of this city and Mrs. Leta Edsall of Soda Springs, California, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Nazarene church at Tabor, Iowa, Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be at Hamburg, Iowa, in the family plot there.
