AUGUST LEITZ

August Leitz, the son of Leonard and Minnie Beck Leitz was born in Fremont County, Iowa, March 10, 1880 and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1950, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 26 days.

He was united in married to Hazel Noble of Hamburg in 1909 and to them were born two children: Mrs. Margaret Kinder of 2211 So. 5th St., Council Bluffs, and Henry Leitz of Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his son and daughter, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Brown, three grandsons, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at Rash Funeral Home, Friday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. C.E. Kingsley. Burial was made in Hamburg cemetery.
