LESTER GEYER DIES

Lester Geyer, a resident of Wilmington, Califorfia, since 1941, passed away Monday night, following an illnes from which he had suffered since October of last year. The disease, which was known to have been incurable, was a disease of the glands, and of cancerous nature.

Lester, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Geyer, was born in Hamburg in 1913. He is survived by his wife, the former Viola Moore, a daughter, Joanne, age 15, one sister, Mrs. Maurice Dalton of Hamburg and two half-brothers, Robert Hicks of Aurora, Ill., and Raymond Hicks of Westerville, Ohio. Funeral services were held in Wilmington, Wednesday, Aug. 30, and burial was made at that place (Roosevelt Memorial Park).
