DEATH OF MRS. SPEAKS

Florence Ida Lee Speaks, the daughter of William and Margaret Lee, was born in Nokomis, Illinois, on February 14, 1859 and passed away at Malvern, Iowa, on May 26, 1950, at the age of 91 years, 3 months and 12 days.

She was a member of the Methodist church and also a graduate of Blackburn college in Carlenville, Illinois. Mrs. Speaks had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. F.W. Castleman, in Hamburg for the past twenty years. She is survived by one son, W.B. Speaks of Kansas City, and one daughter, Mrs. F.W. Castleman of Hamburg. She also leaves five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Services were held at the Rash Funeral Chapel, Sunday, May 28, with the Rev. Cecil C. Latta officiating. Interment was in the Hamburg cemetery.
