WHITE SERVICES

Services for Fordie White, 66, will be at 10:30 Wednesday at the Meierhoffer-Fleeman Chapel. Elder Melvin E. Hougas will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:30 Wednesday at Mount Zion Cemetery in Hamburg.

Mr. White was unexpectedly stricken at his route 2 home Monday, and was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital here.

Born in Hamburg, Iowa, Mr. White had moved to St. Joseph from Phoenix in 1968. A longtime resident of Idledale, Colo., he had lived in Phoenix for six years.

He retired in 1976 after fve years as a diesel mechanic at H & H Transportation Inc. He belonged to the Teamster's Union and the seventeenth congregation of the Reoganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are his wife, Eva G. White; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Worthley, Wathena,and Mrs. Carol Miller, Savannah; his mother, Mrs. Grace White, Rock Port; three sister, Mrs. Hazel Gardner and Mrs. Marjorie Allis, both of Hamburg, and Mrs. Ruth Duncan, Boulder, Colo.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His father, Elmer Warren White, an one brother, Dale White, preceded him in death.
