Bessie P. Graham
1922 - 1998

Hamburg, Iowa - Bessie Pauline (Case) Graham, 75, Hamburg, died Saturday, May 2, 1998, at a Hamburg hospital.

Mrs. Graham was born on July 26, 1922, in South Hamburg, Iowa. She attended the Hamburg community schools, graduating from high school in Hamburg.

On July 26, 1940, she married Richard Kingery in Corning, Iowa. The couple lived in Payne Junction, Iowa, where they farmed until his death in 1953.

She lived in Sidney, Iowa for about a year before moving to Watson, Mo., where she operated the Watson Telephone Company.

On Jan. 7, 1974, she married Don Graham. They later divorced. The couple lived and farmed in Percival, Iowa.

Mrs. Graham had lived in Hamburg since 1990, where she was a member of the Hamburg First United Methodist Church and the Hamburg American Legion Auxillary. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Sidney.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Richard Kingery; and her parents, Robert L. and Iomgene Case.

Surving: a son, Daniel A. Kingery, Sidney; three daughters, Jo Ann Workman, Hamburg, and Nancy Fischer and Connie Rae Garst, both of Watson; a brother, Robert Case, Jr., Hamburg; four sisters, Fern Smith, Maxine Bennett, Roberta Case and Wanda Riddington; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Watson United Methodist Church. Burial: Mount Zion Cemetery, Hamburg. Visitation: friends may call after 9 a.m. at Minter Funeral Chapel in Rock Port, Mo.
