Mrs. David Emerick, who has been sick for some time with consumption, died Saturday morning at 8 o"clock, at the advanced age of 73 years. Mr. and Mrs. Emerick were among the pioneers of Mills County, having been residents of the county for 34 years. Mrs. Emerick was respected and loved by all who knew her and she will be sadly missed, especially by the bereaved husband and children.The funeral was held at East Liberty, Sunday afternoon, and Monday the remains were taken to Wilbur, Nebraska for burial.
