Kyle Patton, of near Nebraska City, was fatally injured on a road near that place Friday, when a team of mules he was driving became frightened and ran away. They threw him from a corn planter upon an broken road marker. The marker pierced his body to the depths of eleven inches. He was taken to St. Mary's hospital, where he passed away Saturday night. He suffered considerably before he died.
