Death of Mrs. Tucker,- Mother" Tucker, as she was familiarly called, died at her home near Tobias, Nebraska, Thursday evening last, and the remains were brought here Saturday and laid beside those of her daughter, Mrs. Barton, in Malvern Cemetery. She was present at Mrs. Barton's funeral on the 15th of last month, and though feeble, was no more so, apparently, than for several months previous. Returning to her home she enjoyed her usual health up to the day of her death and when she retired that evening and sank into a peaceful sleep, the family did not know that her spirit had fled until some time after death had set its seal upon her.The suddenness of the death came with crushing force to the family, and for several days the daughter at home was completely prostrated.

The boys, Richard and Harry, Of Tobias, and a son-in-law, Joseph Viner, of Hastings, were present at the funeral, and with hearts full of sorrow followed the remains of a loved and loving mother to their last resting place in the city of the dead.
