Riverton Pioneer Passes Away, October 2, 1940

John J. Smith of Riverton, died on October 2, following a short illness. He can be truly called a pioneer, for he was born east of Hamburg on April 16, 1857. Mr. Smith was well known over the county, and was active as a stock buyer up until the time of his last sickness. A complete obituary will be found in the Riverton news.
