Gerald Smith buried Friday

Gerald D. Smith, 83, died Nov. 3, at Grape Community Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and carpenter. he was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Velma; daughters Sharilyn Trivelpiece of Hamburg, Geraldine Owen of Farragut; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters Dorothy Smith of Geddes, S. Dak., Lea Sterling of Papillion, Nebr. and Coretta Jo Whitten of Nebraska City; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Nov. 5 at the Rash Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating. Interment was in Mr. Zion Cemetery.
