BOSWORTH, MCCLUSKEY

Nancy Caroline McCluskey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson (Jack) McCluskey, was born near Thurman on May 9, 1865, and passed away at her home in Sidney, May 22, 1931, at the age of 66 years and 13 days.

She spent her girlhood near Pacific Junction until her marriage to William A. Bosworth, September 4, 1882. After their marriage they made their home in Omaha for four years, then moved to Sidney where she spent the remainder of her life. She had been in failing health for the past two years.

She is survived by her husband and eight children, George of Des Moines; Mrs. Charles Bales of Clarence, Illinois; Mrs. George Vermilyea of Brooklyn, New York; Mrs. William McDowell of Wapello, Iowa; Leona and Lulu of Omaha; Floyd and Edwin at home. There are also three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Jacobs of Omaha; Mrs. Ada Godsey of Whiting, Iowa; Mrs. Mary Frizzle of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; and five brothers, Will Rowe, Jim Rowe, Matthew McCluskey all of Glenwood; Robert McCluskey of Osaksis, Minnesota and Joe McCluskey of Sidney.
She united with the Baptist church at Brightside a number of years ago, and always retained her membership there, remaining a faithful servant of God to the end of her earthly days.

Funeral services were conducted from the Sidney Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Cecil V. Phillips officiating and Rev. Clark Howard assisting. Interment in the Sidney cemetery.
