September 9, 1920Mrs. John Alberson Dies
On Friday evening Mrs. John Alberson died at her home in Hamburg, after an illness of eight weeks. The funeral service were held from the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W.H. Hoge, pastor of the Baptist church and interment made in the Hamburg cemetery.
Mrs. Alberson was a member of the Christian church of this city and was a woman loved and admired by all. Her interests were centered about her home and she truely filled the position of wife and mother in all that might be implied. She was kind and considerate to all, and her friends were numbered by the score.
Sara Ella Bell Harris was born in Galva, Ill., October 27, 1859, and died at her home in Hamburg, Friday September 3, 1920. She moved with her parents to Hamburg in 1870 and on December 16, 1879, was united in Marriage to John Alberson. Six children were born to this home, all of whom were with her during her last illness. They are Enoch R. Alberson, Mrs. Bert Brown, Blair Alberson, Mrs. Joe McKean, Mrs. Carl Zimmerman and Mrs. George Miller. She is also survived by her husband and aged father, four sisters and five brothers, namely Mrs. Anna Franklin, Baker City, Ore.; Grant Harris, Clarinda; John Harris, Pawnee City, Neb.; Mrs. H. E. McKown, Norfolk, Neb.; Ace, Milford and Clarence Harris, Mrs. Frank McBride and Mrs. Gus Wagner of this place.
