She had submitted to an operation for gall stones and appendicitis on Monday and it was thought that she was making splendid progress for recovery. During Tuesday evening her heart action became serious and she died at ten o'clock that night.

She died at the hospital Tuesday, April 3, 1928, at 10:10 p.m. She was 54 years, 3 months, and 29 days old at the time of her death.

At the age of sixteen years she joined the Evangelical Church and was always a faithful member of that congregation. She was ever honest, and a diligent worker and a good mother to her children. She always took an active part in the affairs of her church and community and her death will be keenly felt by all.
