Last Will and Testament of Jonathan Isom
I, Jonathan Isom of Fremont County and State of Iowa being of sound mind do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament viz:
I give and bequeath to my son, (Dorcy?) M. Isom, his heirs and assigns that tract of land situated in Fremont County and State of Iowa, described as follows. The South East one fourth of the North East one fourth of Section Thirty Three, Town Seventy, Range Forty Three containing forty acres more or less.
My wife, Martha Isom shall retain the use and possession of the same to be used and enjoyed by her during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease to be the above named (Dorcy?) M. Isom.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 1st day of (Jan or Jun) 1869.

Shockley, Clerk of the Circu8t Court in and for said County, do hereby certify that on this day at the April term A.D. 1871 of said Court, the Will and Instrument in writing hereto _____ and bearing dte on the 1st day of June 1869 was duly proved before and allowed by said Court as and for the last Will and Testament of the real and personal estate of Jonathan Isom, late of said County, deceased, and was by said Court ordered to be recorded as such Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at my office in Sidney in said County this 12th day of April A.D. 1871.
