Last will and Testament of Wilmoth L. Langston

I, Wilmoth L. Langston of Fremont County Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, and of full age, do hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament..

1st I desire that my funeral, and the expenses of my last sickness be first paid.

2nd I give, devise and bequeath to my Great Grandchild, Charles Kimbell, the sum of One Dollar.

3rd I give, devise and bequeath to my Grandchild, Marvin Holloway, the sum of One Dollar.

4th I give, devisee and bequeath all such residue and remainder of my Estate, both personal and real to be equally divided among my children who are now living, to wit: Larkin B. Langston, William H. Langston, Lydia A. Goeer (sic), Mal___ Langston and Nancy G. E. Pugh.

I hereby appoint, my son, Larkin B. Langston, Executor of this my last Will and Testament, without giving the usual Bond required by law.

Executed at Sidney Fremont County Iowa this 26 day of October 1881.

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof subscribed by Wilmoth L. Langston, in our presence, and she at the same time, declared the same to be her last Will and Testament, and by her request we signed our names thereto as witnesses both in her presence and in the presence of each other.

State of Iowa, Fremont County…I, G. D. Batcheldor, Clerk of the District Court of the County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify that at the December term, 1886, of Circuit Court, on the 21st day of December 1886, the foregoing will of Wilmoth L. Langston, deceased, was duly proven, allowed and admitted to probate.

In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said county at my office in Sidney, in said County, this 12th day of January 1887.
