BUCKHAM, T. L.

I T. L. Buckham of the township of Madison in the County of Fremont and State of Iowa, do hereby
make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, to wit:

1st This is my will that my funeral expenses and all just debts be fully paid.

2nd After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath unto my
beloved wife, Jane Buckham, all the real estate and all the livestock, consisting of horses, cattle,
hogs etc., by me now owned and kept on my premises. Also all the household furniture and other
articles of personal property not here enumerated or otherwise disposed of in this will, during her
natural life, provided she remains my widow. And in the event she should marry, it is my will that
my estate as above enumerated be divided by giving to my said wife, her one third dower interest
and to each of my natural children share and share alike except my granddaughter, Charlotta
Buckham, whom I heretofore made advancements. I desire to share in the sum of Three Hundred
Dollars less than the rest of my natural children.

3rd It is my ______ will and intention that my wife, Jane Buckham, shall educate and maintain all of
my natural children and heirs of my estate from the rents and profits of my real estate and the
natural increase and growth of my stock as may be in my possession at my decease, until they
shall each arrive at the age of their majority.

4th In the event of the marriage or death of my wife, Jane Buckham, as aforesaid, should it be
considered again to be the best interest of my heirs as aforesaid to subdivide my Real Estate it is
my will that the same be sold and the proceeds thereof be divided as herein before provided.

5th I will and bequeath to Fremont County Iowa Lot No. Fifteen in T. L. Buckham timber survey in
the North West 1/4 of Section 26, Township No. 68 of Range No. 42 West known as the graveyard
site and recorded in the ______,
page 596 and 597 of Fremont County Records;.

6th And last, I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife, Jane Buckham, Executrix of this my last
Will and Testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratified and confirm
this and no other to be my last will and testament and it is my further wish will and desire that my
said wife, Jane Buckham be allowed to execute and carry out the provisions of this will without
having to execute or enter into any penal bond as Executrix, hereof. In witness whereof I , T. L.
Buckham hereunto set my hand this second day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand and
Eight Hundred and Seventy three.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said T. L. Buckham, as and for his last will and
testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his
request have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto on the day of the date aforesaid.
