Last Will and Testament of Eunice A. Ripley
(not my relative)In the Name of God Amen, I Eunice A. Ripley of the County of Fremont and State of Iowa of the age
of fifty six years and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last
Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:First - I direct and order the payment of all my just debts.
Second - I give bequeath and devise to my son Henry D. Ripley all my real estate situate in
Fremont County Iowa, known as the West half of the South West quarter of Section No. Four
Township Sixty Nine North of Range Forty West to have and to hold the same forever.Third - I give and bequeath to my son Henry D. Ripley my sucking colt now called his and also my
two year old colt the only one I now own to have and to hold the same as his own absolute
property.Fourth - I give and bequeath to my son Robert J. Ripley and Henry D. Ripley all my farming
utentials and implements to have the same jointly and in equal right.Fifth - I give and bequeath all the remainder of my personal property and effects after the payment
of my debts equally to my son Samuel A. Ripley and my daughters Emily A. Clem and Mary E.
Chambers share and share alike to have and hold the same forever.Lastly - I hereby appoint my sons Samuel A. Ripley and Robert J. Ripley executors of this my last
will and testament hereby revoking all formerwills by me made.Witness my hand and seal this 8 day of July A.D. 1864...Eunice A. Ripley....(seal)
The above instrument consisting of one sheet and two half sheets was at the date thereof signed
sealed published and declared by the said Eunice A. Ripley as and for her Last Will and Testament
in presence of us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have
subscribed our names as witnesses thereto

Julia A. Sears, SidneyI H. R. Laird Clerk of the Circuit Court of Iowa in and for Fremont County Iowa do hereby certify that
the foregoing and _____ will of Eunice A. Ripley was at the May term of said Circuit Court A.D.
1875 and on the 3rd day of May 1875 of said term was duly proved and admitted to Probate.
