This seems to be a different person. The Mentje Janssen I am looking for was born Sep 18, 1841 in Jennelt. It is not sure she moved to the US, she seems to have left Jennelt around 1889, without a trace sofar. All of her brothers and sisters that reached adulthood, had by then already moved to the US: tree married sisters (familynames Ennenga, Wiltfanck/Jürgens and Lübben)and two brothers (Carson/Karsjen and John/Jan). Especially Carson and his family (wife Jennie and sons John and Casper) lived in and around Ackley. Etna and Steamboat Rock. So it is definitely not certain Mentje indeed moved to Ackley.
