Ralph Flint died in the hospital at Greenfield, Massachusetts of pneumonia on June 20, and funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Emanuel of the Christian church of Iowa Falls being the minister in charge.

The parents of the deceased, C. C. Flint and Alida Flint came to the vicinity of Dows in 1872, settling on what is now the Will Mendell farm a mile east of town where the deceased was born the same year. He was a chef by occupation and had cooked for some of the most exclusive clubs of the country.

He leaves to mourn his departure, two brothers, Ceylon of Dows and Fred of Oregon.

The services were in charge of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Dows, of which the deceased was a member for many years.
