Miss Maude Beach, 32, died Saturday evening at the home of mother in Dows after suffering from arthritis for a number of years. She had undergone an operation on October 27 but pneumonia set in and proved fatal.

She was graduated from Dows High School and taught in the rural schools of Wright County for several years.

Her father, Milo Beach died last year. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers: William Beach of Clarion, Mrs. Grant Lindstrom of Dows, Mrs. Lenwood Lindstrom of Manly, Mrs. James Babcock of Eagle Grove and Bonnie and Robert Beach of Dows.
