GINAPP Inez Susie Bell (1921-2014)

BELMOND -- Inez S. Ginapp, age 92, of Belmond, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, five days before her 93rd birthday, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond, with her family at her side.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Alexander Methodist Church. Pastor Shawn Hill will be officiating. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery. Andrews Funeral home in Belmond is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home, Wednesday, July 9, from 4-6 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before the services. Memorials may be directed to the Alexander Methodist Church.

Inez was born July 11, 1921, at Alexander, the daughter of Lewis B. and Dora (Larsen) Bell. She graduated from Alexander High School in 1938. On January 8, 1942, she was united in marriage to Kenet Ginapp in Sheffield. After his honorable discharge from the service they resided in Alexander until they moved to Belmond where they resided their entire lives. After Kenet died in 1964, Inez babysat for various families, cleaned houses and worked for Belmond schools in the lunchroom for many years.

She is survived by three sons, including: Roger (Pat) Ginapp, Garner, Ronald (Nancy) Ginapp, Marshalltown, and Bob (Teresa) Ginapp, Rockmart, Georgia.; sisters: Lavonne (Dallas) Card, Alexander, and Dorothy Poland, Rockwell; sisters-in-law: Lavern Bell, Clear Lake, Irene Ginapp, Rockwell, and Joreen Ginapp, Minnesota; her grandchildren: Scott (Robyn) Ginapp, Garner, Todd (Mel) Ginapp, Sugartown, Texas, Nick (Cassie) Ginapp, Crete, Neb., Stacey (Michael) Barta, Granger, Brad Ginapp, Quantico, Va., Jennifer (Berlan) Arnold, Rockmart, Ga., William (Ashlie) Sisson, Rockmart, Ga., and Jason (Kady) Sisson, Cave Springs, Ga.; also surviving are 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenet, her infant sister Baby Susie, a brother Eldon, and sisters Erma Neal and Alma Pals. Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, IA.
