Iowa Falls - Eva M. Hammitt, 107 of Iowa Falls and formerly of Popejoy, died Friday, February 21 at the Scenic Manor Nursing Home in Iowa Falls of natural causes. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Ellingson of Popejoy and Mavis Ketchum of Yuma, Arizona; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin; a daughter; two sons; three sisters; two brothers; a grandson and a great-grandson. She was a homemaker and had been the oldest resident of Franklin County. Services will be at the United Methodist Church in Popejoy Tuesday with burial in the Oakhill Cemetery in Popejoy. The Surls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
