Services for Alberta M. Clabaugh, 73 ofKlemme, who died Sunday October 31, 1993, were held Wednesday, November 3 at the United Methodist Church in Klemme with Rev. Jerry Robertson officiating. Burial was at Oakhill Cemetery in Popejoy with Tenold Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Alberta M. Clabaugh, the daughter of Maynard and Hulda Petrie was born May 17, 1920 on a farm near Popejoy. July 10, 1937 she married Virgil A. Clabaugh at Hampton.

She loved to spend special time with her family and friends, often to share home baked cookies or vegetables from her garden. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband Virgil A. Clabaugh of Klemme; four daughters: Joellen and husband Duane Bramsen of Gainesville, Missouri; Karen and husband Ronald Knudtson of Mason City; Sherryle and husband Richard Meyers of Mesa, Arizona and Roma and husband Paul Mueller of Des Moines; two sons: Bill Clabaugh and wife Roxanna of Van Nuys, California and Gary Clabaugh of Klemme; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Roma Lou Petrie of Winter, Wisconsin and two brothers: Lyle Petrie of Ojibwa, Wisconsin and Leman Petrie of Marshfield, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Haugland and one brother, Kenneth Petrie.
