A runaway team caused the death of Lupke Schulte, a farmer of near Alexander. He was driving a manure spreader and fell in such a way that the machine passed over his body. He leaves his wife and five children.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name as Lipke and that he was born May 12, 1876 and died Oct. 2, 1915. He is buried in the Alexander Cemetery.
