GENEVA – Mona Amelia Schuler, 93, of Geneva, died Thursday, Feb. 2, at Dows Health Care Center, Dows, of natural causes; survivors include three sons, Warren of Cedar Falls, George of Dows and Earl of Bondurant; a daughter, Ardeth Plendl of Hampton; 21 grandchildren, 59 greatgrandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lenice Peden of Hinesville, Ga., and Elva Scarrow of Mason City; she was preceded in death by her husband, George; a daughter; a son; seven brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren; services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Siet-sema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, with burial in Harlan Cemetery, rural Dumont; friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
