M. Mozelle "Mo" Stech, 93, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. She was born on April 12, 1924, in Newton, Iowa, to William Allen and Ethel N. (Helphrey) Moore.

Mo graduated from Newton High School, class of 1941. After graduation she moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked for the FBI. Mo came back to Iowa, and married Bernard Lee "Bernie" Stech on May 11, 1947, in Newton. She then worked for a bank, and worked at Maytag for twenty-three years, all while raising her four children.

Mo was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church, Franklin General Hospital Auxiliary, Hampton Senior Center, Mother's Club, Red Hats, and American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

She enjoyed dancing, shopping, playing cards, walking and her sweets, chocolate being her favorite. Mo loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and attending her children's and grandchildren's various activities.

Mo is survived by her daughter Sharon (Jim) Koenen of Hampton, daughter Kathy (Bob) Heilskov of Coralville, son Bill (Sue) Stech of Altoona, son Terry (Jimmie) Stech of Lexington, Kentucky, grandchildren Creed (Sarah) Heilskov, Roxie Koenen, Jason (Kerry) Heilskov, Amber (Todd) Peterson, Brent (Maria) Stech, Wendy Stech, Kristen Davis, Jon Stech and Sam Stech, great-grandchildren Madison and Kennedy Korth, Taylor, Brooklyn, James and Cash Peterson, Marin and Ava Heilskov, Joshua Heilskov, Anastasia and Arianna Stech and James Davis, sister Darlene Martinez, step-grandchildren Melissa (Ray) Young and Susan (Bob) Warring, step great-grandchildren Lauren, Brooke (Daniel), TJ, Blake and Clay, step great great-grandchildren Kayden and Lacey, along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ethel, husband Bernard "Bernie" and brother Francis Moore.
