Steven Michael Myers, 54, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa.

He was born August 29, 1963, in Algona, Iowa, to Jack Myers and Lois Rodgers. Steve graduated from Reinbeck High School and then continued his education at welding school. He worked as a welder most of his life. Steve also drove truck and was a hog site manager. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. Steve also enjoyed riding motorcycles, ATVs, minibikes and dirt bikes.

Steve is survived by his daughter Maggie Jean (Dana McArthur) Myers of Coulter and their daughter Karma Jean, daughter Charlie Anne Myers of Cedar Falls, parents Lois (Larry) Parks of Hampton, sister Deb Myers Swope of Nelson, Wisconsin, nieces Heather Schloemer, Amy (Joel) Newton and nephew Michael (Leah) Niedermann, two great nieces, two great nephews, an aunt, an uncle and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Myers, brother-in-law Bob Swope, maternal and paternal grandparents.
