Hampton Man Passed Away Tuesday
Frederick Lund, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday morning at his home after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at the Green & Sietsema funeral Home, in Hampton, and at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton. Rev. W.R. Garred, pastor, will officiate at the last rites and burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born June 7, 1883 at Slesvig, Karastrup, Denmark the son of Mr. and Mrs. Laust Lund.

He came to the United States in 1905 and settled in Franklin county. He was married to Miss Kathrine M. Brink, March 8, 1907 at St. John's Lutheran Church and they farmed until they retired in 1950 and moved to Hampton.

Mr. Lund is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. A. Henry (Lydia) Hansen, of Hampton, Mrs. Harry (Laura) Ryan, of Maplewood, Missouri, Mrs. Alfred (Martha) Miller, of Hampton, and Mrs. Les (Edith) Holly, of St. Louis, Missouri, and one son, John Lund, of Hampton. Also surviving are Kreston and Chris Lund, of Askov, Minnesota, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Mr. Lund was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
