Last Rites Will Be Wednesday For Neils E. Lund
Neils E. Lund, age 82, of Hampton, passed away Monday morning at the Franklin General Hospital where he had been a patient about ten days.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton, with Rev. Sedoris McCartney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Green & Sietsema Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Lund was born February 9, 1887, in Denmark, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Laust Lund. He came to America in 1907 and had since made his home in Franklin county.

He was married to Ingaborg Bjerg March 15, 1912. They farmed in Franklin county until they retired in June 1968.

Mr. Lund is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. G.O. (Vita) Sampson, of Cary, Illinois; Mrs. Edel Swadley, of Crystal Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Duane (Olga) Alexander, of Hermiston, Oregon; one son, Laurids Lund, of Vinton; one brother, Kresten Lund, of Askov, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
