Stanley Marion Pedersen, 88, of Coulter, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 31, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with the Rev. Louise Stromberg officiating. Visitation is today, 4-7 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hampton.

Stanley was born Sept 5, 1909, near Coulter, son of Neils and Marie Pedersen. He attended country school.

He married Violet Beneda Oleson on Aug. 12, 1936, at Nashua. He was a farmer and tiller. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Violet of Coulter; a daughter, Pat Ann Towne of Harvard, Ill.; a son, Larry Dean Pedersen of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
