Jorgen Paulsen Answers Summons.
Jorgen Paulsen, a resident of Hamilton township for the last twenty-three years, died at his home last Sunday from heart disease.

Mr. Paulsen was born in Denmark, May 8, 1873. He came to the United States when he was twenty-three years of age and settled on a arm near Newell, Iowa.

His marriage to Christine Madsen took place at Newell, March 17, 1903, and the couple made their home in that community until twenty three years ago, when they moved to Hamilton township, and where they had since been engaged in farming.

Mr. Paulsen was for many years an official in St. John's Lutheran Church in Hamilton township, and was one of the active and substantial members of the church. He was also a member of the Danish Brotherhood at Newell.

The deceased was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Edna Jensen, who died about two and one-half years ago. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jorgen Paulsen, and five children, Clarence Paulsen, Elmer Paulsen, Miss Mabel Paulsen, Miss Selma Paulsen, Miss Esther Paulsen, all at home and by one brother, Peter Paulsen, of Hampton.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. H.C. Strandkov, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, assisted by Rev. Haakon Jorgensen, of Newell, will be held at the church this afternoon and Burial will be made in St. John's Cemetery.

Died March 13, 1932.
